The TextQL ontology is designed to work seamlessly with various data sources, with current primary support focused on warehouse tables. While direct ontology integration for files and spreadsheets is in development, users can already leverage file data through TextQL’s robust datasets functionality. The datasets page provides an intuitive interface for uploading and managing files, allowing immediate access to file-based data through Ana’s chat interface.

TextQL is actively expanding its ontology capabilities to include native support for files and spreadsheets as first-class ontology objects. This enhancement is currently in beta, with select new customers receiving early access to test and provide feedback on the feature. This development represents a significant step toward unified data access across all source types.
